How is it possbile for you to be told that she is spayed (when you took her in at 6 months) and she really have not been spayed? Typically an ovarian hystorectomy is done in which they remove not only BOTH ovaries (as they exist), but also the uterus. This is the most commong procedure. Had this been done, there's NO WAY she could go in season, as she has nothing there!
Not only that, but if she's really missing a kidney, this could possibly be part of her issue w/ itching! The body isn't filtering the "funk" out of the bloodstream properly which can lead to a host of uncomfortable issues. In either case, while I'm not a vet (somewhat of a scientist) I would really hope that if possible you take her to someone who actually knows what they're doing and quit wasting your money.
