Thanks you guys for both the advice and the moral support! I hate to see Zoey so sad...and aren't their little sad puppy dog eyes enough to break your heart in half?!

I work in a hospital, but I work on the pediatrics floor, so I've tried to see if I could get about getting my dog watched by the Child Life (people who entertain and keep the kids' spirits up in the hospital)...and having Zoey visit sick kiddies, but it can't happen without some special training or something.

I'll have to see if maybe a voice/video recording may help...that sounds like a good idea! Thanks.

There used to be nice lady who lived in my building and had a shih-tzu, and zoey and molly (the shih-tzu) were best friends, and I'd drop Zoey off to play with Molly all day while I was gone, and that was the ONLY time I've ever seen Zoey not even flinch when I left, but Molly has since moved away! I may have to see if I can save money for a dog sitter. Yes, another yorkie would be fun....hmmm...tempting.
