Yet another question about crating. If your baby sleeps in the crate at night, up until what age do you keep the door closed until they are ok. Diezel has been sleeping in the crate for around 6 months now (after a brief test with letting him sleep out of it) And althought he is fine in there. Hardley ever cries or bark unless he is to wired when its nani time. But I would like to be able to go to sleep early if I wanted to and not have to time it around what time I have to get up to let him out.

I have tried to put the xpen around it with a wee wee pad inside and he just doesnt like that. Barks and cries all night. Do I go back to basics and try to ignore it and just let him bark it out? Or has it not been long enough.

I do not keep him in there for potty training purposes, it is just so that I can sleep without him at the side of my bed in my face trying to wake me up.
