Mine do the same thing. I call it their "Hide in plain sight!!" time. Chester will get a treat, take it to somewhere that NOBODY else can see. Plop it down and meticously bury it with what he thinks is the best cover-up ever made. He'll get all done, and one of the others calmly walk over to it, pick it up and eat it!! Then he'll look at me as if I gave away his secret!! Then he'll "Umph" and go back to sleep. You'd swear it was all MY fault!!

As for Yorkies digging, it's natural. Like barking at air!! It's just something "they" do. If my guys only did what I taught them, they would all be able to feed themselves, change the pee pads and clean up poop. Course, they'd all be able to type too!!
