I am in love with the 20D....but I must admit that though I use it often, it technically "belongs" to the studio. I am saving up for my own 20D and hope to have it by mid-summer.
The XT is a GREAT camera too though. Compatible with teh same lenses as the 20D so it's great to start out with. The manual controls take a little more effort to switch around on the XT but as far as a good SLR you really made a great choice.
