Jim, Losing a dog that you love is one of the hardest, most heartbreaking thing that many of us ever go through. I have said it before, but I still remember the dogs I had as a child (over 50 years ago), and miss them still.
I believe from experience that time is the only thing that helps us get over our initial, most painful grief. But - still we never forget our dogs who were a wonderful part of our lives. They live in our hearts and memories of them bring tears to our eyes forever.
