Unfortunately, you cannot have it both ways...... if he is to be bred.... he will need to mature and he should be over a year and a half before he is bred. A puppy turns when he goes to puberty... which is usually 5 or 6 months old. My maltese was done at 5 months..... which is why he never even knew how you mark.... he has no urge whatsoever.
My house is beautiful but it's a bit stinky. I have a girl come in once a week just to clean up the stink but it doesn't help. I knew this would be part of my life if I was going to raise unneutered boys so I've accepted it. The 2 marking boys I have are much better now and they will not do it IN FRONT of me but I still see spots from here and there and I know it is them.
