You are supposed to not bathe them 3 days before and wait 3 days after treatment. And if i were you i'd bomb your house. If they are getting all over him in your yokries room it sounds like that room is infested and it can happen very quickly. Then after that you can use once a month carpet freshener with flea repellent in it or whatever its called lol..it works to keep them out of your house and to even kill a few if you have jsut a few..you can get it at walmart. You also might want to consider having your yard sprayed too if it's that bad of a problem..I have sprayed my yard before but that was when i was in town..
