I'm sorry to hear about your glasses- I can sympathize with you, though! My dogs have chewed up some of everyone's "stuff" at one point or another. The kids get more upset about it than I do. I tell the kids "if it's on the floor- it's fair game as far as the dogs are concerned! Pick it up or lose it!"
I try to take a visual inventory from my pups eye level every now and then- it is amazing how different everything can look from down there...
Had a dog one time eat an entire large package of gum- wrappers and all- (the kind that has something like 20 some sticks) my son was so upset that the next time I went out that day I bought him another pack, guess what, yep- the dog ate that one too!
Believe it or not I saw no ill effects from all the gum consumption... then again, maybe it really does take 7 years for gum to digest... hmmmm.
