You've got a couple of options. It may be possible to get your kid to pee on something that was already peed on by another dog. Can you catch the urine of another dog (or even his) and pour it where you want him to go, or maybe even take this pot or....if there's dirt somewhere or a hole in your concrete where you can put a wooden rod sticking out of the ground...and have another dog just pee on it?
There are many other options, but this is certainly one of the fastest.
Oh, and typically it doesn't matter if dogs are neutered or not, he'll most likely smell the urine, need to go and just hike his leg (since he's already doing it) even if you don't consider it "marking".
