Try to get it off using a really strong magnet. (That's how they take them off to begin with.
) Or, wrap the side with the ink in a plastic bag (just in case) and burn the other side with a lighter.
(I swear, I am NOT a habitual clothes theif...I used to work retail and had to report items stolen and how we suspected alarms were removed if and when we'd find them laying in the store.)
