I dont know if dogs and humans are alike in this situation, but here goes anyway..... A few years ago I had gall stones really bad, wound up in the hospital, and was fed morphine for a day and a half, until the removal of my gall bladder occured. My urine looked like that, but with a bit more orange color, (not trying to gross anybody out),but the doc said the stones were so bad, that they had caused some liver damage witch caused the discoloration of the urine. The color would return to normal once the opperation was completed. Again, I'm not sure if this could be the problem, becouse humans are very different from dogs. But it might be something to check into. What I'm trying to say is it could be he has a liver problem.
