Hope you've heard back from the vet and your baby is doing just fine. She will be groggy, particularly if you are picking Dolce up today. I had a similar nightmare before I took Sissy in, but she came out great. Tomorrow she will be back to pretty normal, though they will suggest you restrict her from running, jumping and stairs. Didn't work for Sissy, but you never know. You will most likely be given pain medication also - do use it for Dolce. You will know she is well on the mend if she is eating and drinking normally. Watch her incision site for swelling that is red, and/or bleeding.
I'm sure Dolce will be fine, but we'll keep you in our prayers anyway.
