I know someone who has one and it works for their dog That said, however, if your dog is as you described, it may not stop her. The shock is not continous....once past the line...they're home free so to speak. My brother's dog yelps once and is outta there. Seems once the dog realizes that, then you have a problem.

I don't know if I'd let a yorkie have free roam on that large an area, I imagine there will be predators on the property to worry about too.
