Here is my favorite one of my kids:
When Kevin was in 4th grade he and Megan (2nd grade) wanted to walk home from school.. It's only about a quarter of a mile and there are crossing guards at the busy street, so I said yes. I warned them that they had to cross at the crossing guard station, no where else. Well, they made it home alive, I asked how it went and heard "fine". The next day I saw the crossing guard and she tells me how my kids scared her to death because she saw them cross the busy street a couple of blocks away. I went home and was going to kill my son. I said "Why didn't you go up by the crossing guard to cross Main St." Well, they made the street one way so that cars didn't go past the school on that side, and my kids didn't go up that street because "Mom, we wanted to go that way but the sign said DO NOT ENTER" |
LOL! Duh mom
