 How long before it ends?
I'm posting this again today hoping to get some more responses. I came home yesterday to another mess--pee and poop all over the x-pen area. How long will this behavior last? Any ideas about what to do to help our puppy release his frustration and energy? I work all day and have to leave him in his x-pen. When he is free in the early morning and at night, he's happy and wonderful to be around.
"He clearly doesn't like having to be restricted and tears at his wee wee pad until dislodging it from its holder. He then tosses it around; not so lovely to come home and see the mess. He was very well trained by his breeder and does his pee and usually his poop on the pad. I think he is just frustrated not to have more freedom. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I can do to get him to stop this behavior? He loves his bully stick, but I'm afraid to leave him home with it unsupervised. Any advice would be most appreciated." |
