SDPhotoGirl -- My pups didn't need the extra fiber - their stools are fine - but I had no problem getting them to eat the honey-flavored Grape nuts. I think they thought they were crunchy little pieces of candy. There is no reason they couldn't eat them wet (as we do for cereal) -- but they certainly like them dry - and crunch away like there's no tomorrow.
One great trick is take some in a bowl and eat a few yourself while you're watching TV or something. This way - they think they are "people food" (which they are), and before long, they are begging for their share.
I suppose you could even toss these in with their wet or dry food --it doesn't matter how they get them....they are healthy and are just extra fiber - which is good for all dogs!
