If she's not sick (and you can usually tell) -- additional fiber in her diet will quickly give her more solid stools. (It is the fiber in our diet that causes us to have firmer stools - a lack of fiber will cause softer stools - and with softer stools, a dog will easily go to the bathroom more often...)

One thing that she might eat and enjoy are "Grape Nuts".... the cereal that we eat - it is very high in fiber - and they have a "honey-coated" that I'm sure any dog would love. If your pup isn't sick and will eat only a small handful of these daily for a day or two, I sure you'd quickly notice a difference.

If you check out Grape Nuts at the store - (the ones I have are the "little round things.") and they say "high in fiber" on the box. Plus you can check the amount of fiber by reading the box......

Good luck! Carol Jean
