Sissy is currently 8 months old. The label of Royal Canin says for puppies from 2-10 months old. Should I switch Sissy to the Yorkie variety once she is 10 months old - or keep her on the puppy longer? Sissy is a tiny yorkie - only 3 1/2 lbs. I doubt she will get much bigger as her sister from the litter (the breeder kept her) is just over 2 lbs.

I also use Old Mother Hubbard treats. They are very small dog-bone shape, but I break them into about 6 pieces to use as treats for going outside.

Any other thoughts?
When we got our new yorkie she was such a fussy fussy eater, we tried every high quality dry food but could not get her to eat on her own, hand fed for months, finally we got the Royal Canine 33 for small puppies, and she loves it, no more having to feed by hand . I am going to keep Baby Blessing on this till she is ten months old like they suggest and then I think I will put her on the other one that Royal Canine has. Ours is quite small also and our other Yorkie was only three and half pounds and always had to give her the tiny bite size. I am going to the pet shop this afternoon and will check out the line as there was another that they have that I thought I would try instead of the yorkie one, I will pm you when I get back. I definately will keep her on this brand as she is doing great and loves it. How is she doing with her teeth did you have to have vet pull any? I hope ours will loose hers without having to have them pulled. Have a nice day.
