According to the vet when I asked this question...he told me ten months is the best time to change. You will have some left over food so you can mix and transition them into the next phase. The vet said at that age they don't need as much of the stuff that is in the puppy phase. I will probably change Lex around that time as well. The breeder that I got him from told me the same thing.
