Tomorrow is a bitter sweet day for me: my little baby boy Rylie turns one year old! While I am glad he's growing to be big and strong, he's officially not a puppy anymore. This first year has been amazing and such a learning experience for me. I've never had a dog before. But Rylie has been so much more than a pet: he's taught me about love, patience, understanding and what it means to be a mommy. I couldn't ask for more.
The first few weeks were tough. I even found myself asking "
What am I doing? I can't raise this puppy?" But with time, a lot of research-- including reading many threads on this site-- I have become a loving parent to the best Yorkie in the world!!!
I just want to say thank you to everyone on this site. And most of all, I want to thank Rylie's "dad", who has been alongside me through every momentous occasion in Rylie's first year. Last but not least, I want to send BIG hugs & kisses to Rylie! Baby boy, life hasn't been the same since you came into my life. I love you and my world is fully complete with you in it. I
