I just brought home my little Dasiy last night and I have a few questions....

First of all Potty training.....

She is still young I know but what is the best way to do it? When I see her start to go in a place she is not supposed to I pick her up and put her on her potty pad. After about 4 times she went on it but a few hours later I put her back in her play pin on her potty pad and he climbed back on her bed and tried to go pee. I picked her up and said no and put her on her pad. I know it is going to take a while but do you have any tips or tricks? Am I doing it the right way?

Also leaving her in her play pin.....

When we brought her home she just slept and slept. I held her for a while and then put her in that for a while so she could sleep. She woke up a few times while she was out of her play pin to eat or go potty. we played with her for a while and when it was time to go to bed we put her in it. About a half an hour later my boyfriend heard her crying very loud. Now we had olny had her for a few hours and this was the first noise we heard out of her. He jumped out of bed so fast it woke me up. He thought something was wrong. But of course she was just lonley. He picked her up and I told him I thought we were just supposed to let her cry and go to sleep so she learns that bed time is bed time. (i could be wrong I think I read it somewhere) well we played with her for a while and then put her in her bed. She cried for a while but went to sleep. She had run of the house at her breeders house so I know he is not used to being in a little area. So i do understand that this is all new to her. Am I doing this right? Any tips? She cries everytime we put her in it.
