Sorry I didn't get back to this one..... Really, I don't know if peppermints are all that "safe" but Stormie is an Aust. Shepherd - not a real small dog - so they seem to be okay for her. She does actually crunch it up before swallowing it and it's not something we regularly give her - not even a daily thing. I wouldn't give one to Tatum (Yorkie) though.
