It's the opposite at my house. My 8-week-old Yorkie entered the house and quickly made life hell for my 21-pound, shy, and gentle Bichon. He promptly learned he could travel around the house hanging onto one of my Bichon's ears - and every minute he was awake, he was jumping on, playing with, and driving the poor little Bichon crazy.

I finally resorted to putting my Bichon on my bed and closing the door so he could get an occasional nap.

I have to feed my dog's separately because the Yorkie will eat the Bichon's food first and then go back to his own dish - (while the Bichon stands and watches.)

I have to hold the little Yorkie before the Bichon will come into the house - otherwise, he enters only to be promptly jumped on and driven crazy again!!

So -- it isn't always size that counts - is it?

My two have been together for several months now, and the little guy is growing up and finally giving my other dog a little more peace.....thank goodness!

Good luck! I'm sure that "time will help."
