My two stay in the laundry room which is blocked off by a baby gate. They both did fine this last year which I was away from the house for about 8 hrs a day M-Fri. Now my job allows me to work from home 3 days a week and I just love it. This breed is very high energy but again they do love there naps.
Pick a nice safe place and allow for fresh food and water. I found being away from the home for 8 hrs it was hard to crate train a puppy. So instead the Wee-Wee pads thank goodness worked out great and they both are now trained.
