Default By heart was in my throat last night!

We were all in bed last night and my husband and I were just about to drift off to sleep when out of no where my 4 year old son Kobe started screaming. But it was a weird scream. Like he was struggling to get anything to come out. We went into his room to find him wiggling around and gasping for air. But there was a whisling sound when he did take breaths. We knew that he has some asthma troubles as a baby, and so did his brother. So we always keep emergency inhalers in the house. I was sitting there holding him trying to keep him as calm as possible. Which is almost impossible for an adult to do during an attack. Imagine trying to get a 4 year old to calm down. So we gave him the emergency inhaler 5 times before he was breathing a little better. I sat next to him all night long to make sure that he didn't have another episode. All day today he has been hoarse, and just out of it, almost like he is coming down with something. This just came out of no where! We will be going to the doctor in the morning to get it checked out. And in the mean time I will be watching him like a hawk.
