really no bones period? because my mom read somewhere that you are supposed to sterilize bones (don't know how you'd go about doing that ) then you can lightly stuff them with penut butter and its a healthy way to keep a puppy busy if you should be away from it for a while. this might have been a suggestion for bigger dogs but we just bought a bag of these sweet little bones and i was hoping to try it...glad i haven't (well for our fox terrier anyway)
