I think the pups should gain a few tenths of an ounce per day... if they gained an ounce a day they would be huge by 8-12 weeks old.

I agree with weighing them every day... any significant losing of weight is a red flag...time to see the vet.

They will lose some of their puppy fat once weaned from mom... I think your momma is doing a great job.
