I looked at his picture and he is a cutie! He looks like he has a sort of silky wavy coat. I'm no expert but hopefully some others will respond. The wavy coat could be due to the way you are grooming him. Cali is the first Yorkie that I have had that I am grooming my self for the most part. I have had her groomed profesionally 2 times but I am going to start having her groomed more often as I can't trim her ears and do as good a job.
