i've been letting my 1 yr old grow since last fall and it's pretty long, but he has a cotton coat and get's a few matts , i can get a comb through it when i groom him. my problem is he loves the water and now that it is getting warm we have started setting up our pool so now he thinks whenever he goes out he can get in it and i dont have time to brush him everytime he goes out. and i do have a cover on the pool but he gets in when i am working on it.
we also have a small water pond (not over his head) and he like to get in it also. so the hair will have to come off as much as i am dreading it.
