My Brandy has very wavy hair that never matts. I am growing her out long and its about 3 inches now and if I didn't brush her for a week she would look like a mess but I could have her brushed out in about 30 seconds. Her fur just doesn't matt. Titan's hair is straight as an arrow and much thinner and also doesn't ever matt. I think both are silky coats just one is straight and one is wavy. I read so many posts about cotton coated yorkies that got matted and are impossible to brush out. There is definitely a difference between a cotton coat and silk coat.
