so i went to go see the breeder today and i was quite dissappointed. first of all the breeder was a little over an hour away and i had talked to her about 3 times on the way over and none of thoes times did she mention to me that the female i was going to look at was already sold. so anyway i got there and her home reeked of urine which kind of freaked my dad and i out. But we went in anyway and she showed me a 8 week old that was already ckc registered (well her papers were filled out minus the name). so i picked the timid little girl up and as i picked her up i felt her nails, i don't think they had been clipped once! i smelled and felt her coat and i believe she hasn't had a bath either. i also noticed her ears aren't standing up and that her back is slightly convex. so i asked to look at her dam and sire and the lady said they were in the 'kennel' (no seriously she left it at that). i asked about the sizes of the parents and luckily i had thought to bring along my scale to weigh her and she weighed in at around 3 and half pounds. i couldn't believe it! so then i asked if she had seen a vet and lady said no! she said she does all thier shots, worming, and tail docking herself. we got tot talking about this female and she starts talking about how she isn't a tiny one but that makes her good to breed and was saying how much money i could make. well i told her i'd have to talk to my mom first about it and daddy and i got out of there. so basicly it was pretty much a bust but she was so cute and i may have pictures so y'all can see tommorrow.
