I know what you mean about the belly band shifting a little - exposing their little faucet! This happens to at my house occasionally.
Only recently, I had two dogs and two cats --and at times, it certainly was difficult to know which one should be blamed for an accident. It still is occasionally --with my two dogs.
Congrats!!!!! --- on your new carpet. And, hopefully, it wasn't your little girl who pee'd.
