Daisy was spade at around 2 pounds at 7 months, she was fine. She also had to be put under at around 10 weeks old for having a broken leg set, boy she was tiny just over a pound.
You do worry with these little ones but the best thing to do is find a vet that has experience with tiny dogs. I have heard a few scary stories but I think they had to do with a vet using too high a dose of anaesthetic for their tiny size, it is rare though. Ask your vet lots of questions so you can be sure your baby will be in good hands. |
