Has anyone encountered Yorkies with shaky legs? My almost three year old Yorkie male's front legs (and very occasionally his back legs too) shake. It doesn't happen all the time, and at first glance it looks like he is either cold or nervous, but he is neither. I asked my vet about it and he said it is something neurological, and as long as my dog is not in pain we should not worry about it. However, it happens alot, and his front legs seem to be bowing outwards, whereas they used to be very straight. I know that Yorkies do suffer issues with joints, and I don't want him to have major issues when he gets older, because of this.
We maintain his weight, as I'm sure being overweight would be very bad for leg problems, and try and exercise him regularly.
Has anyone else seen this same problem? If yes, did you come up with any other solutions?
Thanks!
