Do you suppose small dogs mark in the house more, because they are so small and even inside of the house seems like a huge world to them.. With big dogs, they may feel no need to mark inside since to them it seems like a small place. Which could also be why they are difficult to train, because they do not consider the entire house their nest. Maybe they only consider certain areas off limits for marking and pottying.
