I think as long as people know what they are getting in to they can provide a wonderful home for a tiny. When I first started looking for a yorkie I had no idea what to look for, but luckily I found this and a few other very valuble resources. I have had pretty good luck, although my dogs wont be tines, (Bridget should be about 5 lbs, and my boy should be around 5 as well)they still have special needs that other dogs dont. It is far easir to care for my doberman than it is for the furbabies, and I dont have nearly the worry with her becasue she is a very study big dog. My brother ended up with a tiny by accident, what was worse is the breeder didnt give him any info, nor is available in an emergency. He has called me a few times to ask what to do. I am grateful that I have this site to help me out and him as well without it we could have lost her.
They take a lot of care, and love, but dont worry, I think most of us want to just caution people about the tinies because there are those that just dont educate how to care for them, and in the end wind up with a broken heart instead of a wonderful pet
good luck, and no worries, you are a good mommy and that is the importian part.
