As some of you know, my mom and I went to NYC the last few days. it was soooooooooo much fun!! I don't think I've ever had so much fun in my life!
On Wednesday we got there around 11 am. We dropped our things off at the hotel, grabbed some lunch, and went to see Mama Mia! That show...WOW. Its soo high energy! I don't know how they do it!! I loved it!
That was over at like 4:30. We went down the street to the Gershwin Theatre, because I had to try to win the tickets to see Wicked. unfortunatly, we didn't get them.

So we went back to the hotel! We had hot dogs (or dirty water dogs, as my mom calls them) for dinner. We watched American Idol (

) and then I wanted to go back to the Wicked stage door to meet the people.
This week was Broadway Cares week. (donations to help fight AIDS etc) so they were doing tours backstage. The cast didn't come out until like 11:30. I had a trillion presents for all of them, so I only got 2 pictures. That was amazing! everyone was soo nice!
We got back to our hotel at 12. my mom and I both crashed. Then Thursday next day we woke up! time to go sight seeing! yay! First, we went to Central Park. All the times I've been to NYC, I've never been there. It's beautiful! my mom decided she wants to live in the aparments across the street from it. we took a horse carrige ride through the park. After that we went to The Top of The Rock. That was like the 69th floor of Rockafeller (sp) Center. That was fun!! you could see forever!
After that we went to Applebee's for lunch. (half a block away from Wicked. yay) I told my mom that our waiter was cute. then of course she had to embarrass me and asked him if he was an actor. turns out he is! cool.
At 2:00 we went back to the Gershwin again to try once more to get Wicked tickets. The show wasn't until 8, but today, we wanted to try the cancelation line, instead of the lottery. We stood/sat (whatever) outside for 4 hours. At 6 they let us go inside (to stand in the air conditioning. or just to torture us more.) we stood there for another 2 hours. At litteraly 2 minutes to 8 the guy called us up to the window and he had 2 tickets! yay! (seats were perfect!) I'll stop rambling about Wicked now, because if I keep going there will be no stopping me. let's just say it was unbelievably amazing! (I'm just a tad obsessed with Wicked. can you tell?

)
The show got out around 11. we went back to the hotel to grab our bags and it took like half an hour to get a cab. We finally got when and flew to the train station. We missed the 11:42 train by ONE MINUTE. I wanted to kill someone. So we had to sit in the train station for an hour until the next one. we got home around 1:00-ish in the morning.
It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun!! I'm definitly going to live there some day! now for the pictures:
Here's a link to the picture album....(BTW- the bear sitting on the bed was for the person who played Elphaba (the wicked witch of the west) )
