Jo and Riley are about the same size and coloring, although Jo is older so he's changed a bit more than Riley. Anyway, they were just laying on the floor sharing a toy and I noticed the back of Jo's ears are tan but Riley's are black. Is that common? I guess I thought they all turned tan with the head coloring...Jo's head is tan now but Riley's is in the silvery, not quite tan stage, with black tips. Is there a right or wrong color combination for the ears according to the standard? I can't believe I haven't noticed this before now.
