I have seen people use training collar on a yorkie and other small dogs before. I've been told if used correctly it is an effective tool and does not cause any damage. Problem is that many people don't know how to use it correctly and it does end up damaging the dog throat.

I read and spoken to people about the correct way to use it. I find it hard to follow and chances of strangling my dog is high.

So, the only time I've had a choke collar on my dog is as part of a ghost costume for Halloween. Tiny looked really cute.
