Hi,
My baby Romeo has MVD. There was a biel test done during surgery for kidney stones on Christmas Day. The test was possitive. They then did a neuclear scan to look for a shunt or MVD. They thought he had a shunt, but after opening him, found he had MVD. He is on a special dog food from Hill's Perscription diet. l/d. There is no protein in this food. He is also on a med called enulose. This is to help with the acids that will build up. I wish you much luck with your baby. I also understand the concern of the cost. To date, we have spent just over $8,000.00.

We love our baby. Can't even imagen life without him. This condition will shorten his life. But he is here today and happy to be with us. Good luck with this.
