I would say remove them, it will be less painful for both you (financially) and your yorkie if you remove them sooner. I found both my yorkies retained their top canines. They had very bad stinky breath if not brushed daily, you could see the build up between the teeth which would soon cause cavities.......
I had Daisy's removed with her spading and hope to remove Bear's with his neutering.
