I have been taking my little Sasha for walks since her first year. Around the lake is about 2 mi and around the park is the same. I think she would keep on trucking- if I let her-but I have noticed that when we get home she is really tired that day and the next. So I am carefull- to pick her up for part of the walk and not to take her beyond. She is so anxious to please- and she loves smelling all the other dogs- also- she seems to want to keep up with all the big dogs- and does not want me to carry her!
I just keep my walks a little shorter- and then we just sit and watch the other dogs go by!! She likes that too!
