My AprilLove is much better today, back to her normal self. Hasn't yelped once. Last nght was ruff

I don't think I slept more than 2 hours but I had to keep checking her little tummy and mouth to be sure there was heart beating and breath coming out. My Maltese never had any pain from her shots so this is new to me. I am researching about all of the vaccines and will tell them which ones I want her to have. I am really confused on why a little 1 lb pup would get the same dosage (1 CC ) as a 10 lb pup? Just doesn't make sense to me.
