Default Hello All

Well just wanted you all to know I haven't fell off of the face of the earth and I am still reading your posts everyday. I wish I could put into words how touched I am by all of your thoughtfulness.

It has been a very trying couple of days and I sure do have my good and bad days. Today, thus far is proving to be pretty good. I am trying to keep my spirits up as my daughter's Birthday is on Saturday (she's turning 4) and I want to be at my best.

I go in for my "procedure" on Monday and start chemo on Wednesday. Sure no waiting for anything I guess. I am positive that I am not going to have the best of weeks but I'm going to try like hell to be my very best.

In talking to my doctors we are going to try a newer treatment for my chemo which I am so very excited about and to share with you. Rather than going in twice a week for treatment and getting violently ill, like my prior round, I am going to have a chemo pump "installed" into my body, and I will carry around a little box that will administer my chemo on a regular schedule in smaller portions 24/7 so I am not getting WHAMED with this major dose twice a week. This will allow me to still work, tend for my kids and overall feel better during these next several months.

Again, thank you all for your thoughtfulness. I am so overwhelmed with the amount of posts on this thread and the PM's that I get everyday and I enjoy reading each and every one of them.
