Kelsie was found alive. I don't know all the details yet, but there is supposed to be a press conference this morning. I will fill you in on the details later. Thank you all for your concern and your prayers.
It is always bad to hear about any child or teenager taken and so many of them are never found until it's too late. This teenager was someone I knew because of my granddaughter playing softball with her and she was taken from a small town here in Kansas. As I mentioned in my other post, we don't expect things like this to happen in our small communities like they do in the larger cities.
I have two teenage granddaughters who live there in Independence and two who live in Pittsburg going to college. I hope they catch whoever put this girl and her family and friends through this. I am so thankful it didn't turn out like most of these cases. |
