I was 8 months pregnant at the time and had to go to the hospital. Where I spent many hours. It was terrible. Luckily the time when I had gotten bit the second time, it bit me so many times in a row that it woke me up. It was almost like a sting feeling. Hurt pretty bad. I was lucky that he was not able to inject enough of the poison to cause this type of severe damage. But I do have scars from the bites. And my husband still has a hole in his ankle where he was bitten. These spiders are everywhere. And they are VERY hard to kill. They are immune to so many poisons. We have been buying glue traps for them. We put these where no one else can get to them. Like my kids, or the yorkies, etc. We put them in dark cool areas, and behind furniture. They are scented so that the spiders are attracted to them. PLEASE educate yourselves on these spiders, and other types of spiders in your area. You can't mess around with them at all. They love cardboard boxes, paper, dark, damp cool areas, etc. If you get bit by a spider and you don't see the spider, see a doctor. The damage can happen so fast and can even be deadly. Don't take a chance and put it off. See a doctor, because its better safe than sorry. | The doctors in Houston told us that the only thing that saved my husbands life was that there venom gets weaker every time they bite. Boy, that's a good thing........Thanks for the Arkansas warning! We kill all spiders!
