Haven't heard about the parainfluenza causing any problems. I would be okay with mine getting it. If your dog isn't exposed to anything, I personally would skip the 12 weeks and just get the 16 week combo (parvo, distemper, adenovirus II, parainfluenza) and then a booster at 1 year and 4 months of the same and she should have lifelong immunity (you can check her immunity by doing titer tests). Wait at least until she is 6 months for rabies and don't have them give it to her while she is under anesthesia for spaying or baby teeth pulling, etc. There is really a lot going on with recommended vaccines now. Do some research and I think you will find most say to avoid bordatello, lyme, giardia, corona, and lepto all together. |
