Okay. That sounds eminently sensible. I'm just interested to know, if it seems so obvious a reason to keep them according to American standards, then why would UK breeders be okay with them leaving at eight weeks. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't do that as a rule if it was detrimental to the puppies in any way...
And I don't think my puppy was just surviving at eight weeks. He seemed fully capable of learning and playing and everything when I got him... |
