Tucker has been driving me to distraction with his barking. I tried everything, the water bottle (he loved getting hit in the face, the little monster), the pennies in a can, which made him bark at the can, yelling, clapping....nothing worked.
Well, guess what works, every time! I WHISPER! When he starts to bark I softly say "Tucker" and he looks at me. Then I start whispering "no bark, shhhhh, too noisy, no bark" And I SWEAR to you he stops every time! He comes over to me and I pet him and tell him it's ok, no bark. Hopefully eventually he'll just stop when I say no bark, but this is such a huge improvement that I'll be happy if this just works forever.
